First Snag

Okay, so day 1 and I'm already having issues.

The problem is this: I have already eaten 800 calories today! This is a problem because it's only 2:30 and usually I have only eaten about 450 calories by this time. Also, I have a party to go to tonight; I'll probably be up until midnight.

The good news is that I have a plan. First, I still have all my vegetables left, so I have about a pound of cabbage I can munch on (125 calories). Second, I haven't eaten any of my free foods. I just bought a bottle of pickles, and I can pretty much eat the entire bottle for free (really its approximately 60 calories, but that's the total amount of free food I can have. Third, I have four flavors of sugar-free gum. Fourth, I have diet soda. I'll post my thoughts about diet soda in another post (I know it's no better for me than regular soda). Also, I have a half-hour walk back to school at 4:30-ish and a two-and-a-half hour class this evening that will perhaps distract me from eating.

As a matter of interest all I have eaten to get to 800 calories is a chicken-salad croissant and a little bag of Cheetos. Not the best choices.

We'll see how it goes. Wish me luck
